Cancun, Q.R. — The collision of a Cancun combi and a bus left two with injuries. The accident was reported to authorities by motorists around 6:00 a.m. Monday at the intersection of José López Portillo and Torcasitas Avenues.
Cancun Transit officials arrived at the scene to two smashed vehicles. The driver and front passenger of the combi were injured in the crash. Firemen were called to the scene to remove both from inside the front of the crumpled combi van.
The driver of the bus was detained. Both public transport drivers claimed having a green light.
