Chetumal, Q.R. — Authorities in Chetumal have formalized charges against a man for a 2022 kidnapping case. On Tuesday, the State Attorney General’s Office reported that César “N” was charged in the September kidnapping of two people in Chetumal.
According to their investigation, César “N” is believed to have provided the transportation to those who physically abducted the pair. He is also believed to have participated in the ransom demand for money.
César “N” was arrested by elements of the Police Research team in Chetumal on an outstanding arrest warrant. Due to his charges of aggravated kidnapping, a Chetumal judge has ordered him to remain imprisoned during his trial.
