Cancun, Q.R. — The death of a Cancun taxi driver was reported to emergency 911 Friday after being discovered by neighbors. The unit was found by area residents semi-crashed into a roadway median.
Reports say the taxi driver was shot at and hit while driving his car, which lead to his losing control and hitting the median. Neighbors called the scene into emergency services who sent police. Authorities arrived arrived to find a deceased male behind the wheel of the car.
The shooting happened in SM 107 of Cancun on Arío Bravo Street in the Paraíso Maya subdivision. The identity of the deceased taxi driver has not been revealed.
