Tulum, Q.R. — A group of six believed responsible for charging floor rights were jailed in Tulum over the weekend. The four women and two men were jailed after authorities pulled them over in the coastal area.
Police intercepted their vehicle after they were reported anonymously for collecting floor rights from local businesses. During an inspection, officers found two loaded firearms and a variety of narcotics that included pot, crack, crystal meth and bags of powdered cocaine.
The six handcuffed range in ages from 21 to 47 and claimed to be members of Los Pelones criminal gang.
