Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — A woman who was hit by an SUV has died. The woman was struck by the vehicle Friday night at an intersection in the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
The woman was the passenger of a motorcycle that was hit by the vehicle. The bike was slammed in to by the vehicle as it entered the intersection of Benito Juárez Avenue and 73rd Street.
Witnesses said the driver of the SUV, René “R”, was speeding through a traffic light at the time of the accident. The woman was pronounced on scene. Authorities have not released her name.
