Speeding stop leads to arrest of 4 armed in Cancun

Cancun, Q. R. — Two men and two women were arrested in Region 248 of the city for circulating in a vehicle with a firearm.

According to the Municipal Police officers who carried out the arrests, the subjects were speeding down Tules Avenue in a white Nissan, which lead to them being stopped. When policemen approached to ask for the driver’s documentation, they reported seeing a firearm.

Police proceeded to arrest the four. Taken into custody for circulating with an illegal firearm was 30-year-old Agustín N, 30-year-old Marcos N, 35-year-old Elizabeth N and 33-year-old Lorena N. Police also secured their gun, bullets and the vehicle in which they were traveling.
