Recovery efforts locate the remaining three bodies in the collapsed Múzquiz Mine

Múzquiz, Coahuila — The bodies of the remaining three miners from the flooded Múzquiz mine have been found. On Wednesday, search teams located the bodies of the last three men. Recovery efforts to remove them from the mine continues.

They were the last of the seven trapped in the mine five days after its collapse due to heavy rains. As of Tuesday, four bodies had been recovered, however on Wednesday, authorities said the remaining three were located in the deepest part of the mine under tons of mud.

The first of the three was found at 8:00 a.m. An hour later, the other two miners were located. Although rescue efforts began as soon as the mine collapsed, all seven trapped miners perished.
