Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Highway traffic outside Puerto Morelos was affected Thursday due to a two-vehicle collision. Emergency services were made aware of the accident that involved a Suburban and overturned car.
Highway motorists heading toward Cancun watched as the speeding vehicles collided sending one into the central median where it landed on its roof.
According to the driver of the overturned car, he was attempting to avoid another vehicle when he swerved but made contact with a Suburban instead. The car suffered a great deal of damage. Neither driver was seriously injured.
