Bacalar, Q.R. — The burned body of an adult man was found Tuesday by a passerby. Police were at the scene of the 34th Street location in the town of Bacalar after being notified of the finding.
The body was found burned in a grassy area near a set of CFE towers. Reports say those towers are next to a Maya Train work station.
The body of the man was found partially clothed but without any identification. Elements from the Secretary of Citizen Security are working to match the victim to a possible missing person’s report.
To date, the identity of the man remains unknown.
