Tulum, Q.R. — A two vehicle collision outside Tulum Thursday left two cars destroyed but without serious personal injuries. The accident was reported by motorists who witnessed one car attempt a left turn, cutting off the second car.
The accident happened Thursday afternoon on a section of federal 307 highway leading to Felipe Carrillo Puerto. Both vehicles were heading in the same direction when one struck the other during an attempted turn.
National Guard Highways were the first on scene. One female driver was evaluated by paramedics at the scene who was found to have sustained only minor injuries. She was not transferred to hospital.

Vehicle traffic was slowed in the area while National Guard and paramedics attended to the accident.
