Chetumal, Q.R. — A man who was reported for selling land that belonged to someone else has been charged with dispossession. Upon building, the person who bought the land found out that it was owned by someone other than the person who sold it to him.
The FGE of Quintana Roo has charged Eligio C for selling a section of land in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco that was not legally his. According to the FGE, the original landowner filed the complaint against Eligio C after the person who bought the land began to build on it.
Eligio C was arrested and eventually charged with dispossession for selling a portion of someone else’s land located on Avenida Universidad in the municipality Othón P. Blanco. A Chetumal judge has ordered Eligio C to remain in preventative detention during his legal proceedings.
