Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Four people received minor injuries in a two vehicle crash in Puerto Morelos Tuesday. The crash happened between a public transport van and a cement mixer. Four people from inside the public van were evaluated by paramedics for minor injuries received.
It was around 7:30 a.m. when police were notified of the federal highway accident that took place in the municipality of Puerto Morelos. According to preliminary information, the driver of the cememt mixer was attempting a left turn when the two vehicles collided.
The van was carrying four passengers heading for Playa del Carmen at the time of the accident. Highway Division were left to deal with the damaged vehicles, which were eventually towed.
