Cozumel, Q.R. — Four tourist service providers deemed repeat offenders have been arrested in Cozumel. The Director of Public Safety and Municipal Traffic, Guido Renán Rosas López, reported the arrest of the four men for their alleged harassment of island visitors.
The four were removed from Cozumel streets along the boardwalk area after patrolling police noticed them harassing tourists. Aside from harassment, they were also found in violation of the mandatory health regulations including not wearing a mouth mask in public.
Rosas López said that police proceeded to arrest those identified as Celso N, Ángel N, Nigel N and Fredy N, who he says, are repeat offenders for various administrative offenses.
