Copa to temporarily suspend flights into Tulum International

Tulum, Q.R. — Copa Airlines will temporarily suspend its flights into Tulum International starting early January 2025. The Tulum route, along with three other international routes, are being suspended due to new plane delivery delays.

Panamanian airline Copa Airlines says starting January, they will suspend a total of four of their international routes due to new plane delivery delays by Boeing. The flights affected will include Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, Armenia, Colombia, Mexico City and Tulum International.

As of January 11, 2025 flights into Tulum International will be temporarily suspended. Flights into Mexico City’s Felipe Angeles International Airport will be suspended on January 12.

In a statement, the company said with these temporary suspensions, Copa seeks to optimize its network of destinations while the delivery of new aircraft is normalized.
