Isla Mujeres. Q.R. — A construction site in the municipality of Isla Mujeres was shut by city officials after it was found not only operating during the health contingency, but also without permits.
Nivardo Fernández, director of Urban Development and Environment of the island City Council, says the site in Rancho Viejo on the Isla Mujeres mainland was closed by inspectors. She says given the current situation, all non-essential work is suspended, however, this site was also operating without permits.
