Chiapas man bound for Chetumal arrested in PDC bus station with large bag of pot

Playa del Carmen, Q. R. — A K9 patrolling a section of central Playa del Carmen with his handler discovered a man with a large bag of marijuana. Over the weekend, Quintana Roo Police arrested 43-year-old Baldemar “N” from Chiapas after a narcotics dog marked him positive for drugs.

He was found in possession of eight large bricks of marijuana inside one large bag he intended to travel with by bus. His arrest was made at a 20th Street bus station during the routine city patrol.

Baldemar “N” was removed from the bus station and handcuffed after a search revealed the narcotics. He was on his way to Chetumal by bus when he was intercepted.
