Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun taxi driver was found dead inside his unit Monday night. Police were sent to Avenida 107 after a 911 report of a dead Cancun taxi driver inside his car.
According to early information, the taxi driver was killed resisting an assault. He was killed in his car around 11:00 p.m. Monday night. Police located his parked taxi with the driver’s door partially open and interior lights on.
He was found still in his driver’s seat. He was reportedly stabbed to death about the head. Police have not issued a public statement on the murder.
