Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A 27-year-old man from Veracruz was picked up from a Playa del Carmen street for alleged drug sales. The Veracruz native was arrested by municipal police Monday after being reported for offering drugs to a passerby.
After taking his description, officers found the man on his motorcycle near Paseos del Mayab Avenue with CTM. He fled once he realized police were nearing in. He was stopped blocks later and arrested after a search revealed a variety of narcotics that included several large bags of pot.
