Playa del Carmen, Q. R. — Solidaridad Municipal Police arrested a Veracruz man Saturday with over 20 bags of narcotics. Public Safety and Transit of Solidaridad said 48-year-old José “N” was taken into police custody from the residential area of Colosio.
He was arrested arreseted Saturday night on 96th Street with 30th and 35th Avenues when patrolling Preventive Police officers surprised him.
He was seen “introducing what appeared to be marijuana into a bag, and after noticing the police presence he tried to flee, but he was quickly secured. In the security inspection, they found inside the bag four wrapped packages and 13 wrappers with probable marijuana, 11 packages with possible crystal and cash.”
