Huamantla, Tlaxcala — Excessive heat has generated a variety of weather conditions around the country including hailstorms and now, tornadoes.
Several videos captured a tornado along the border between Puebla and Tlaxcala that left material damage one person dead. The tornado was captured on video Monday afternoon as it roared through the municipality of San José Chiapa.
Municipal authorities reported that it was around 4:00 p.m. when the strong winds arrived with the tornado. Local Civil Protection personnel carried out tours to verify damage after a hailstorm also hit the same region.
One person, identified only as a 19-year-old male, died in the municipality of Huamantla in the state of Tlaxcala after being struck by the airborne debris of a fence at a ranch located in the municipality of Huamantla.
