Acapulco, Guerrero — Two vehicles became involved in a traffic accident after the driver of a public bus was shot and killed. The shooting happened Wednesday morning around 10:00 a.m. when an armed man aimed fire at the bus driver, killing him.
His bus drove out of control, invading the oncoming lane where it collided with two other vehicles, both taxis.
Three others were left injured in the accident, one of whom is said in serious condition after being trapped inside one of the taxis. Acapulco police and firemen were on scene along with medical personnel.
The head of the Acapulco FGE, Jorge Zuriel de los Santos Barrila who was also on scene, reported that the three injured were treated and transferred to different hospitals to receive medical attention.
No arrests were made in the deadly shooting.
