Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun department store that had just closed for the night was robbed at gunpoint. The Friday night robbery happened around 8:00 p.m. Staff still inside the store were able to call for help.
The incident took place inside a store of the Multiplaza Arco Norte in SM 251. According to employees, the armed subjects entered the store with weapons drawn and threatened workers while demanding cash from the registers.
They were successful in making off with the money. Police did search for suspects, but no arrests were made.
