State police capture woman operating for Los Méxicles cartel out of her home

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua — The State Investigation Agency of Chihuahua reported on the capture of a woman who is alleged to have operated for the Los Méxicles from her home.

Police reported that the arrest of Yolanda “C”, 54, took place January 26 from a house in the Parajes del Sur neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez. She was arrested on drug charges and violating the Federal Law on Firearms after six weapons and nearly a half a kilo of crystal methamphetamine was found.

Her capture was made as a result of intelligence and investigation work that resulted in a search warrant. Six rifles, ammo and ballistic vests, ballistic plates and 439.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine were seized from the home at the time of her arrest.

Police believe Yolanda “C” was operating for Los Méxicles cartel from her private home.
