Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — A K9 accompanied elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security in a weekend drug operation in Puerto Morelos. Over the weekend, authorities toured a large construction project in the Puerto Morelos Hotel Zone accompanied by K9 Logan.
“With the objective of working on prevention actions, locating narcotics and avoiding criminal acts, elements of the K9 group of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) participated in a coordinated operation with authorities from the federal, state and municipal government,” the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) of Quintana Roo reported.
“On this tour, the canine “Logan” was also present to examine the different points of the under construction project located on José María Morelos Street with Niño Héroes in the Hotel Zone of the municipality of Puerto Morelos,” the agency said.
The tour was reported to be preventative. The SSC did not report finding any illegal substances or items during their search.
