Cancun, Q.R. — Remains of a human body were collected by authorities Tuesday from Colonia Tres Reyes in Cancun. Authorities were made aware of the finding by a local out searching for firewood.
He stumbled upon what was left of the body while looking in the bush for pieces of wood to burn. When moving a stacked pile of stones, he saw the remains.
The remains of the body was found covered with rocks and lime. Police located what was left of the body on a path of a green area off a roadway that leads in and out of the residential community.
Authorities will work on determining the identity of the body.
