Cozumel, Q.R. — Another Cozumel resident was reportedly shot to death early Monday morning. The island’s latest shooting took place on Clavel Street.
Police were made aware of the 1:30 a.m. shooting after residents reported hearing several bursts of gunfire then seeing a body laying in the street. On the ground, police located a 35-year-old man who had been shot several times.
The man was pronounced by responding medical personnel. Police cordoned off the Misión de las Flores subdivision crime scene.
