Military locate 12 ton trailer shipment of marijuana in Baja California

Tijuana, Baja California — A 12 ton load of marijuana was discovered by highway authorities in Tijuana this week. Military personnel made the bust in coordination with the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office after an investigation.

According to authorities, they located and secured a trailer that was found transporting 1,119 packages of marijuana that weighed approximately 12 tons. The bust was made along a highway in Tijuana, Baja California.

Inside the trailer, authorities reported also finding radio communication and navigation equipment. There was no mention of any arrests.
