Mexico extradites sex offender to face charges in Texas court

Mexico City, Mexico — Pursuant to the Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the United States, the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) extradited a man wanted for sexual abuse of a minor.

In a statement, the FGR reported that Mexican national Miguel “G” was handed over to U.S. authorities Tuesday at the Mexico City International Airport for transfer back to the U.S.

Miguel “G” was wanted by the District Court of Collin County Texas, for the crime of continuous sexual abuse of a minor. According to the report, in March of 2012, Miguel “G” inappropriately touched a minor who was a friend of his children, who was spending the night at his house.

The Government of Mexico granted the extradition of Miguel “G” to the Government of the United States after he was arrested in September 2021 in Mexicali, Baja California.
