Cozumel, Q.R. — Personnel from the Naval Search and Rescue station of the Secretariat of the Navy report the rescue of four people adrift in the northern area of the island.
A statement from the federal agency indicated that two Mexican nationals and two foreigners were rescued from the sailboat Walkabout of English origin. The navy says the boat was at anchor and without propulsion after presenting mechanical failures.
The rescued were taken ashore by elements of the Secretariat of the Navy and found to be in good health upon their return to land.
