Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán — The Secretary of the Navy has reported the seizure of 334 kilograms of cocaine from a shipment container in the port of Lázaro Cárdenas in the state of Michoacán.
The shipment was discovered February 25 during an inspection of the ship Pace, which docked under the Singapore flag. Inspectors found eight blocks, each containing 293 brick-shaped packages of cocaine with a weight of just over 334 kilograms.
The cocaine was found with the help of an on-site narcotics dogs.
