Cozumel, Q.R. — A Cozumel father was shot to death by his son during a heated argument with another sibling. According to Guido Rosas López, the director of the Municipal Police, the shooting took place Thursday morning in the San Miguel neighborhood when the father intervened in an argument between his two sons.
Rosas López said they responded to a report of gunfire from a home in the San Miguel neighborhood. Upon arrival, they located one deceased male. Family members told police the shooter fled, making his way toward the ferry dock.
Police were successful in tracking down the fleeing man and securing his arrest. The identity of those involved were not provided.
