Cozumel, Q.R. — A worker for a private construction company died Thursday after being electrocuted while working inside a water and sewerage area in the north of the island. The accident victim was identified as 32-year-old Juan Manuel S.G. who died while performing electrical work.
The man was working at a Comisión de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (CAPA) ramp in front of Las Casitas beach when the accident happened. Paramedics were called to the site, however, the man was found without vital signs and pronounced.
Ministerial police and personnel from the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) also arrived for their corresponding procedures.
