Cozumel, Q.R. — A resident of Cozumel died Thursday after crashing his motorcycle near the archaeological site of San Gervasio. The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. near the ruins of San Gervasio. Reports say the male driver of the motorcycle lost control and skidded, hitting a light pole.
He was seriously injured. The man, identified as James Bleddyn, was rushed to hospital via an ambulance, but died from his injuries. Mr. Bleddyn, who was a diver, was a long-time resident of Cozumel.
