Cozumel, Q.R. — Cozumel firemen saved a home from being part of a blaze that started on the street. Neighbors along 55 Street called for help after seeing the burning vehicle.
It was around 5:40 a.m. when Cozumel firemen were notified of the fire. A fully engulfed vehicle was located on a street in the Adolfo neighborhood. Due to the size of the fire, the street was cordoned off while firemen worked to put it out.
Once the car fire was out, Municipal Police began an investigation into the fire that left the vehicle old Pointer completely destroyed.
Neighbors told police the car had only been parked for a few hours before it began to turn. An official cause of the fire has not been determined.
