Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — A young vendor from Isla Mujeres has reportedly died after entering the Cancun General Hospital with several gunshot wounds.
A young man who was shot several times in front of his home on Isla Mujeres was admitted to emergency at the General Hospital of Cancun where his death was recorded shortly before midnight. He was rushed by boat to Puerto Juárez and transferred to hospital, but died from his multiple injuries.
The now deceased was identified as 25-year-old Ángel L.A. who lived in the El Cañotal neighborhood on Isla Mujeres and worked as a vendor in a craft store.
Ministerial Police began investigations in Isla Mujeres to determine circumstances of the shooting and locate those responsible.
