Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — An unidentified man was shot to death in broad daylight in front of a hotel on Isla Mujeres mainland Sunday. The shooting happened in the area known as Costa Mujeres along the road to Punta Sam.
Witnesses to the unfortunate event called Emergency 911, saying the man was still alive. However, when police arrived, they detailed the man has already died. Paramedics responding to the call via an ambulance confirmed that the man, who had suffered several gunshot wounds, had no vital signs.
There were no arrests announced or witness details regarding the daytime shooting.
