Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — A suspect in the abduction and murder of three locals has been charged. On Monday, authorizes said one of their main suspects has been formally charged for the October murder and attempted murder of three Isla Mujeres men.
Carlos Alfredo “N” is facing charges for the October 18 abduction of three people from the Isla Blana area of mainland Isla Mujeres. All three were shot. One survived. He is facing murder and attempted murder charges for his role in that abduction.
According to police, Carlos Alfredo “N” has been charged “for events that occurred on October 18 of this year, when together with his accomplices, they deprived three victims of their freedom in the Isla Blanca area.
“The victims were intercepted by a van from which four subjects got out and threatened the victims and then put them in the vehicle they were driving. The victims were then physically attacked and shot. One of the victims survived the shooting.”
Carlos Alfredo “N” is facing charges for the crimes of qualified homicide against two victims and for attempted homicide against another person.
