Cancun, Q.R. — A man of Salvadorian nationality was shot to death in a Cancun suburb. Reports of the shooting were made Sunday morning just before 9:00 a.m.
In an information briefing, the Specialized Homicide Prosecutor’s Office said that the murder was reported to the Computing and Communication Command Control Center (C5) of Cancun at 8:57 a.m. from SM 260.
Responding officers arrived to find one man dead. The deceased man’s wife, Mariana M, told police that her husband was shot to death by three others who fled after the shooting.
The deceased is 42-year-old Derlyg A from El Salvador. He was an area contractor. He was found dead on a dirt road in an irregular settlement of the city. Three 9 mm casings were collected at the scene.
