Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has lead to an arrest. Miguel Francisco “N” remains in custody for human trafficking in the form of child pornography.
The arrest was made in Cancun after a complaint was filed by the Scientific Directorate of the National Guard who reported that, with authorization from the Homeland Security Investigations Attaché of the United States in Mexico, three reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were forwarded.
These reports indicate that, using a pseudonym, Miguel Francisco “N” used emails and telephone numbers to disseminate, distribute, store, produce, exchange and share images and videos of child pornography material from a Playa del Carmen Internet connection, police said Friday.

After requesting and obtaining the corresponding arrest warrant, personnel from the State Attorney General (FGE) arrested Miguel Francisco “N” “for his probable involvement in acts possibly constituting the crime of human trafficking, in its form of child pornography.”
Authorities say Miguel Francisco “N” is allegedly related to the material contained in the analyzed digital services, which are linked to an email used by the investigated party to upload and store child pornography material, from an Internet connection located in the municipality of Playa del Carmen.
“The opinion in the specialty of medicine on the Tanner scale concludes that, of the files of child pornography material, these correspond to female persons,” they added.
“The report from the Forensic Psychology specialty concludes that, from the analysis of the aforementioned files, it is observed that people, both female and male, under 18 years of age, are performing acts of body exhibitionism and of a sexual nature, in addition to being seriously sexually assaulted,” the FGE detailed.
