Quintana Roo continues with some of the most expensive gas prices in the country

Riviera Maya, Q.R. — For the second consecutive week, a gas station in Cancun has been listed as the most expensive in the country. On Monday, Profeco head Ricardo Sheffield singled out BP Estaciones y Servicios Energéticas in Cancun for having the highest regular fuel prices in Mexico.

Sheffield detailed that the average price for a liter of regular fuel is 22 peso, 23.93 for premium and 23.32 for diesel. The BP station located along the Cancun-Playa del Carmen highway continues to sell its regular gas for 23.50 peso per liter.

The most expensive premium in the country was found in Tizim, Yucatán for 24.64 peso per liter.

The Pemex supply center located in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto south of Tulum lead among the eight most expensive in the sale of diesel with a retail price of 24.59.
