Chetumal, Q.R. — Police in Chetumal have arrested a man on two counts of attempted murder. In a statement, the Attorney General reports he arrest of Fidel G for the attempted homicide against two males.
The events occurred in July when the defendant approached the men, and with a knife, is alleged to have caused injuries to the two victims ACP and VMAC. At the time of the assault, both men were inside a vehicle parked by a private home in the town Francisco Villa in Othón P. Blanco.
After the incident, the accused went to his home while the two men were transferred to hospital. Fidel G was taken into custody from a vehicle along a highway outside the town of Francisco Villa on an arrest warrant. He remains in the Chetumal Social Reintegration Center.
