Cancun, Q.R. — A city man was found with non-life-threatening injuries after falling under a bus. Cancun firemen were first on scene Thursday evening in response to pedestrian reports of the accident.
The incident happened in SM 230 when the man slipped on the wet road and landed under the bus. He was rescued by bystanders before being run over. He suffered a fractured ankle and minor bruising from the fall.

Cancun firemen said the bus invovled was used to transport company employees and that the man was treated at the scene by Civil Protection medial personnel before being transferred to hospital.
“The Cancun Fire Department, in coordination with Cancún Civil Protection, received a report of a vehicle accident in Superblock 230.
“Upon arrival, they located an Irizar truck used as an employee transport vehicle. An injured male was found at the scene, suffering from a fractured left ankle and multiple bruises.
“According to the information gathered, minutes before the fire department arrived, the victim had fallen under the vehicle and was rescued by bystanders. A Civil Protection ambulance was also on site, providing pre-hospital medical care and transporting the injured person to the hospital for evaluation.
“Cancun Fire Department personnel, in coordination with Civil Protection paramedics, provided support in treating the injured person and in controlling and securing the scene,” Bomberos Cancun reported.
