Tulum, Q.R. — Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) conducted a search of Tulum bar. Authorities searched Los Cantaritos in central Tulum in relation to the Monday murder of an 18 year old woman.
The search is part the investigation into the discovery of the 18 year old’s body that was found Monday off a Tulum highway.
FGE personnel searched the club in a coordinated effort with Investigative, municipal and state police. The area was placed under security while authorities were inside. The operation was part of the lines of inquiry to locate where the woman was prior to her murder.
According to preliminary information, the woman was abducted inside the bar by two men who forced her into a Tulum taxi. Her body was found hours later on the side of the highway.
Three spent shell casings were collected Monday near the victim’s body. The woman has since been identified as Dulce Dalay “N” from Felipe Carrillo Puerto. She was arrested September 19 along with a 23 year old man for drug possession.
