Police apprehend three Cancun taxi drivers dealing in hotel parking lot

Cancun, Q.R. — Taxi drivers David Alejandro “N”, Edgar Antonio “N” and Yusset “N” remain jailed after being arrested for dealing narcotics. The three Cancun taxi drivers were arrested Saturday “in flagrante delicto in the parking lot of a hotel,” the State Attorney General said in their statement.

The three drivers were taken into custody by Cancun police “after elements of the National Guard observed that they were exchanging bags and money.”

During a physical inspection of each man and their vehicle, authorities found transparent bags of narcotics later confirmed to be marijuana, powdered cocaine and crystal meth.

The three Cancun taxi drivers along with their narcotics, cash, cell phones and cabs were seized at the time of their arrests.
