Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Municipal elements of Solidaridad responded to another incident near Xpu-Ha. On Wednesday, officers were sent to the Riviera Maya area of Xpu-Ha in response to a deceased taxi driver.
At the scene, authorities located one dead man inside a Playa del Carmen taxi parked on the shoulder of the highway. The 54-year-old driver, José Luis “N”, was shot to death while inside his unit. Elements from the State Prosecutor’s Office have begun an investigation.
