Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Six people aboard a private vessel were returned to land Sunday after their boat ran out of fuel. Elements of the navy responded to their call for assistance after the report of vessel Bleu being adrift.
The navy ship set out in search of Bleu and her six crew. They were located three nautical miles (approximately 5.5 kilometers) northeast of Isla Mujeres. The six on board of Bleu were transferred onto the navy vessel while the boat was towed to Punta Sam on mainland Isla Mujeres.
