Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Firefighters were at the scene of a late night warehouse fire in Isla Mujeres. The fire was reported by area residents near the Convention Centre around 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
Municipal firemen arrived to a fully engulfed building that was used to store cardboard. It didn’t take long for them to extinguish the flames generated by the burning material. Due to a quick response, flames did not spread to other nearby buildings.
Elements of Isla Mujeres Civil Protection were at the scene assisting in verifying an official cause for the blaze. There were no injuries reported.
