Chetumal, Q.R. — The driver of a car was freed from the driver’s seat after crashing into the side of a truck. Chetumal firemen used the jaws of life to free the driver in the Monday evening Maxuxac Avenue accident.
The red car hit the pickup after, according to information from the scene, the driver of the truck lost control and slammed into a tree. The oncoming red car then hit the passenger’s side of the pickup truck.
The impact sent a not-so-secured jet ski flying off the truck and into traffic. The water vehicle was located several meters away from the truck where it came to rest on a public road.
Chetumal Transit attended to reports of the two vehicle accident. There were no serious injuries to either driver. Both vehicles and the jet ski were towed to the corral.
