Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — A man who attempted to enter the water at the back of a moving boat was taken to hospital with propeller wounds. On Sunday, a 41-year-old male tourist was taken to hospital by ambulance after trying to dive into the water from the back of the boat he was in.
Upon seeing what happened, the captain of the unnamed vessel returned to a federal Apiqroo dock where he received medical attention before being transferred.
The Port Captain along with agents from the Municipal Police also met the boat along with Red Cross paramedics. The unidentified man was transferred to a Cancun hospital where he was treated for propeller injuries to his leg and chest.
