Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo reports that an investigation by police has lead to the arrest of a man accused of the rape of a person of reserved identity inside a rehabilitation centre in the municipality of Isla Mujeres.
In a press release, the Attorney General says police have executed an arrest warrant against Oscar H. He was taken into police custody from the street in Region 219. He has been arrested for allegedly committing illicit acts against a woman with disabilities in a rehabilitation centre, taking advantage of the fact that he was the victim’s therapist.
Family members learned of the abuse and filed a formal complaint.
